These Terms are published at: https://syringepumppro.com/terms-of-sale/ and can be located by searching for “refund”, “Terms Of Sale” on the SyringePumpPro website. You are asked to agree to these terms when you make a purchase in the SyringePumpPro web shop.

SyringePumpPro software products are licensed with a License key which is generated by the owner submitting a Machine IDentifier which is generated by the installation of a SyringePumpPro software product.

SyringePumpPro products are released in trial mode, which functions with some limitations for a number of trial days.

A License key is purchased to enable features on the SyringePumpPro software product. It is not related to a pump serial number in any way. Thus the software license does not follow the pump from computer to computer.

SyringePumpPro software products will always detect and report on the state of correctly connected pump(s). This is the case before and after the trial period has a begun/expired. If you experience difficulties connecting your pumps, please contact SyringePumpPro support.

By purchasing SyringePumpPro product(s), you indicate and consent that you have read and agree to the Terms detailed on this page.

If any part of this agreement is declared unenforceable or invalid in your state, all remaining clauses in this agreement shall remain binding on the customer

1.0 License Keys

A license key is created for the specific computer the purchaser nominates. License keys are destroyed by the act of re-installing your operating system software or significantly modifying the hardware composition of that computer.

A purchased License key unlocks the purchased feature set for as long as the Machine ID remains exactly the same as the one submitted on application for the license key.

License Keys will only be issued once payment has been received in full.

Trial periods cannot be extended.

Every computer needs it’s own license key which is manufactured solely by SyringePumpPro.

If you have purchased a license key and SyringePumpPro has received payment in full (including International transfer fees if applicable) SyringePumpPro will issue a license key with the features you paid for, when the purchaser submits their MachineID within 48 hours.

Purchaser must be able to prove they are the purchaser by providing purchase details, date of purchase, what was purchased, and where the purchase was made.

1.1 Refund After a License Key is Issued

Once the email containing the license key has been sent, the sale is considered complete and cannot be refunded as the License key cannot be returned.

1.2 Moving License Key to Another Computer

A license key cannot be moved. It generally cannot be proven that a particular computer was destroyed.

Technically the key data can be moved to another computer, but it will not enable the software.

Technical details about how the Licensing system functions will not be provided by SyringePumpPro.

1.3 Computer failures or reconfiguration of Operating System

Computer failure does not entitle the purchaser to a replacement key free of charge. See paragraph Moving License Key to Another Computer

1.4 Automatic Updates

SyringePumpPro Software does not offer automatic updates.

1.5 Unclaimed License Keys

Once a license key is purchased it must be claimed within 3 calendar months.

Purchasers may make an email requesting a hold period of longer than three months before the 3 months expires.

SyringePumpPro users create pumping programs and often use them as part of a larger experiment or device. It is felt that an automatic update system may inadvertently disturb an existing system.

Should an update become available – Owners of license keys will be alerted by email. The owners can choose the best time to apply any update.

1.6 Email Failure

Purchasers are reminded that all internet email is subjected to seemingly random blocking due to the amount of spam email, and institutional email policies. All of these things are beyond the control of SyringePumpPro.

Lack of email contact with no contact page usage is not grounds for refund. See Email below.

2.0 Payment

SyringePumpPro accepts PayPal and/or Credit card payment via our credit card processor Stripe. Credit card details are not collected or retained by SyringePumpPro. Bank transfers are offered but are discouraged.

2.1 Payment Processing Fees

Payment processors PayPal and Stripe charge fees to process payments. These fees will be borne by SyringePumpPro.

2.2 Bank Transfer fees.

The bank used by SyringePumpPro charges a high fee for international transfers. The purchaser’s bank probably charges a high fee to make international transfers.

If bank transfer is used as a payment method:

  • A $US35 fee is applies to the amount owing. A custom invoice will be provided.
  • License Keys will not be generated until the transferred funds are available in the SyringePumpPro bank account.
  • Expect a delay of 5 or more business days.

Should a transfer be made that is not equal to the product license key plus the International transfer fee, Each further International transfer incurs a separate $US35 fee.

Please use a credit card or PayPal instead.

2.3 Proof of Purchase

An email containing the date, location of the purchase, amount paid may be requested from the end-user to connect the purchase made by a third party on behalf of the purchaser / end-user.

Inside the web-shop only the receipt number is required. This receipt is emailed to the person who transacted the purchase and did not provide the end users email address.

2.4 Software Delivery

After we have processed your payment successfully, you will receive an email with your order number and other purchase information. You can download the software by downloading and installing the trial/try version of the product you have purchased and then following licensing instructions that were emailed to you, a page of instructions on the SyringePumpPro website, or by contacting SyringePumpPro support.

Should you not receive an email containing your information, you can contact us through syringepumppro.com/contact/ to request your purchase information.

Access to re-download SyringePumpPro software products is always available.

3.0 Refund Policy

All refund requests must come via email to SyringePumpPro. No refunds – all sales are final.

Forced refunds by canceling credit card purchases after the license key has been issued are invalid.

A trial version is available to install on computers to test computer compatibility and pump compatibility. The trial period commences only once a pump is detected by the software.

A fourteen day period is available for customers to test the software and make a purchase decision. This is known as the Trial or Try period. The Try period only commences AFTER a pump has been successfully detected by the software. This is done to provide potential purchasers a full 14 day opportunity to test the software and computer and pump(s). Thus: All sales are final.

By purchasing software from our site, you agree to this refund policy and relinquish any rights to subject it to any questions, judgment or legal actions.

4.0 Warranty

SyringePumpPro Software products are sold and distributed by SyringePumpPro and are done so in the hope that they will be useful, but WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY; without even the implied warranty of MERCHANT-ABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

SyringePumpPro software products are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, expressed or implied. There is no implied meaning that they will function exactly as you would like, or that they will be compatible with all third-party components and software.

SyringePumpPro shall not be liable for any damages, including but not limited to, direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages or losses that occur due to the use or inability to use SyringePumpPro software.

We do not assume responsibility and will not be held responsible for any conflicts or compatibility issues that may occur due to third-party software. We assume no responsibility for any data loss as a result of installing or using SyringePumpPro. Should conflicts occur with third-party software, we may provide support at our discretion.

5.0 Support

Support for software products sold and distributed by SyringePumpPro is only available for those who have an active, paid extension license.

Support and updates are granted for one year after the original purchase based on the license you have purchased.

Should any one of the following occur, SyringePumpPro will no longer be responsible for providing support for SyringePumpPro:

  • A particular SyringePumpPro product is no longer actively developed as a viable product under the SyringePumpPro name.
  • SyringePumpPro or the parent company is purchased or bought out by another company.

Whilst we attempt to provide the best support possible for our software, we do not guarantee that any particular support query can, or will be answered to the extent, or within a time frame that the inquirer is completely satisfied.

6.0 Ownership

All downloads are property of SyringePumpPro. Claiming any type of intellectual or exclusive ownership rights of our products is strictly prohibited.

7.0 Email

SyringePumpPro may occasionally send you emails related to the purchase of product(s) or downloadable resources from our company.

We may send you occasional email newsletters relating to SyringePumpPro product updates, promotions, and the like.

We will never sell or release your email to any third party vendors.

We will release your email address and name when we are working with the distributor of your choice or in your area. This is usually when a distributor is asking technical support questions or acting as a technical translator on you behalf.

You may opt out of emails at any time without penalty. Please email timb@syringepumppro.com and make your wishes known.

7.1 Email contact timeliness

SyringePumpPro aims to process all emails within 24 hours. Sickness and other issues may rarely lead to a longer response time.

If the purchaser has not received a response to their email within 48 hours, the SyringePumpPro website contact page should be used to contact.

7.2 Contact Page Always Works

The contact page is designed and utilizes only SyringePumpPro resources and always gets through.
