New Era Pump Systems are entering a newer era! First we have a name change to New Era Instruments hinting at a broadening of their product range in the future. New Era are in the process of rolling out new pump models, product names and a new corporate website. The new pumps have names like SyringeOne rather than NE-1000. Lovin’ your NE-500 Syringe Pump OEM

I thought I would put together a few words about NE-500 pumps and it’s cousins the NE-4500, and the variations of this pump that are available. These pumps are intended for OEM applications, that is to be built into newly designed equipment, and operated by software control only. They have no front panel display and no keypad, so you must use software to operate the pumps. SyringePumpPro will do that for you. Lately it would seem that more of these pumps are finding their way onto bench tops, simply because of their incredible low cost and in combination with SyringePumpPro [...]

Paper: PCL Scaffolds Manufacture for Breast Cancer Cell Culture

I am always excited to see a mention of SyringePumpPro! This time I confess I might be a little more excited because it's the first scientific paper mention of SyringePumpPro and Spraybase equipment.  SyringePumpPro has had an association with Spraybase for  a few years now, and it's been wonderful working with the team. I am not going to pretend that I know what Electrospinning PCL Scaffolds Manufacture for Three-Dimensional Breast Cancer Cell Culture is about - it's completely out of my area of expertise - I don't know anything about cells except that I own a lot of them [...]

Benzene Formation In Electronic Cigarettes

Found a new paper today - caught my eye because I have several customers who are electronic cigarette (“e-cigarettes”) manufacturers. Syringe pumps are an ideal way for manufacturers to fill the vaping cigarette devices. They will create multi-pump programmes and and then use the SyringePumpPro multi-pump recipie method of loading their pumps with the correct programs for each of their cigarette formulas. This way they know that they are reliably dispensing the components of their vaporizing liquids. This makes it easier for non-technical pump operators to dispense the correct ratios of ingredients. This is important as some components of the [...]
